Only the plants shown on this section of the site are available by mail order. There are two ways to get your plants:
1. As rootwashed bare root plants by first class recorded delivery post to all parts of the UK for £6.00 regardless of order size. Plants will be despatched to British addresses only between mid February and mid March. If you have a greenhouse or a cold frame it will be possible to despatch a little earlier but dates will vary a little from season to season depending on the weather conditions at the time. When you place your order you will be able to tell us if you have a greenhouse.
2. If you want the plants more quickly - perhaps for a birthday present - then we can send them by carrier, in their pots, as soon as they have died back sufficiently in the autumn. Prices for plants sent in pots by nextday carrier start at £9.50. This option is not available for the more expensive extremities of Britain. You will be able to see all the costs before you place the order. To find our carrier delivery depot, click here and search with your postcode.
Both methods of delivery will require a signature and, when you register, you have the option of registering additional UK delivery addressess.
The plants you get are strongly grown and will be on average about one year old from rooted cuttings grown for a season -generally in 9cm pots or strong divisions from open ground plants. They will be strong plants and they will NOT be small and recently rooted specimens in plugs.
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the plants we ask you to take good care of the plants in the interim and return them within one week of delivery and at your expense by first class recorded delivery when we will refund your purchase value.
